Balufab’s Role in the Steelwork
Balufab delivered the structural and architectural steelwork package, including:
- Fabrication of bespoke curved steel haunches
- Structural roof frame and portal-style elements
- Feature steelwork integrated into exposed interiors
- Installation within a live and constrained brewery environment

Engineering & Fabrication Detail
The Brewer’s Hall required long clear spans and visually clean structural lines. Balufab achieved this through:
- Precision laser-cut plate fabrication
- Curved steel elements to form architectural arches
- Welded assemblies finished to a high visual standard
- Pre-planned installation sequences to minimise disruption on site
The use of curved haunches added both structural efficiency and a distinctive design feature, echoing traditional forms while delivering modern performance.
